Solar Free case study

Business need
This supplier of residential solar panel solutions offered a premium product at a higher price point in the crowded Canberra market.
The business had aggressive growth targets and was well equipped to service a high volume of consumer inquiry.
What they needed was an advertising agency that could effectively communicate their unique proposition whilst driving a predictable level of high quality sales inquiry. They also wanted the financial certainty that comes with a Cost Per Action billing model.
Solution
ADAD developed a Performance TV™ strategy that would:
-
Communicate both the environmental and financial benefits of Solar Free’s unique proposition whilst clarifying the perceived complexity around the government rebates and deadlines.
- Generate a high volume of qualified leads and sales for residential roof top solar panel installations in Canberra.
- Grow Solar Free’s brand awareness and communicate the company’s unique proposition.
Results
- DRTV drove over 3500 qualified sales leads in the first 8
weeks and resulted in over 1130 installations in the Canberra market. This
generated over $9 million in turnover in the first 8 weeks of
the campaign.
- Within 3 months DRTV established Solar Free as the
leading solar provider in the Canberra market based on volume of
installations
- Systems installed from the TV activity generate
2,893,324 kWh in renewable energy every year for the community and
$1,321,699 in annual feed-in tariff rebates for their customers.
